Zperiod - Periodic Table

Privacy policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This policy applies to the Zperiod app for iPhone and iPad.

App: Zperiod - Periodic Table for iPhone and iPad (bundle ID com.mitre88.zperiod)
Developer: Alejandro Hernandez Mitre
Privacy contact: support@nextechia.com

In short

Information we collect

None through the app. The app does not collect, receive or store any information about you or your device. It has no way to send data off your device, because it does not connect to the internet. Buying the app is a separate matter, handled by the App Store (see "Purchases").

Purchases

Zperiod is a paid app. You buy it on the App Store, and Apple processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The app never sees your payment details or your purchase.

Apple does not share buyers' names, email addresses or payment details with us. App Store Connect gives us sales and payment reports, which we use to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations; we do not share or sell them. Refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What stays on your device

To remember how you like to use the app, Zperiod saves a few preferences on your device:

The iOS app sandbox protects these settings. The app never sends them anywhere and we never receive them. To erase them, delete the app from your device.

Device backup

iOS can include an app's saved preferences in your iCloud Backup, or in a backup you make with a computer, so they can be restored on a new device. If your backup is on, this may include Zperiod's preferences. That backup is created and managed by Apple under your own account settings, not by Zperiod, and we cannot see it. You can turn iCloud Backup off in your device settings.

Permissions and network access

Zperiod does not request permission to access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files, and it does not connect to the internet. The element data, 3D scenes and labs are included in the app and work offline.

Advertising, analytics and third parties

Zperiod contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social-media software, it does not use your device's advertising identifier, and it does not ask to track you. We do not share data with anyone because the app collects none. The app includes element data from PubChem and an open font. They run only on your device and cannot contact any server. PubChem is maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Zperiod is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NIH or NLM.

App Store Connect may give us aggregated statistics about the app (for example, downloads by country, and crash reports from devices whose owners chose to share analytics with app developers). These statistics come from Apple, not from the app, and they do not identify you.

Children

Zperiod is made for students. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It has no accounts, chat, ads or in-app purchases.

Data retention and deletion

The app stores nothing about you off your device, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete from it. Your preferences stay on your device until you delete the app. Purchase records (see "Purchases") are kept by Apple under Apple's own policies. If you have a question about them, write to support@nextechia.com.

Your rights

The app collects no personal data, so there is nothing in the app for us to access, correct, export or delete. Apple does not share buyers' identities with us, so we hold no records about you. If you have a question about your privacy, write to support@nextechia.com.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how the app handles data (for example, if it adds an online feature), we will update this policy and the app's privacy details on the App Store before we release that version. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.
