Folio

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Folio does not create accounts and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It contains no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, tracking technology, backend, or third-party network client.

Journal pages, titles, tags, language selection, notification preferences, onboarding status, and streak counts are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes these records.

Optional local reminders at 7:00 and 19:00 can be disabled in Settings or in iOS system settings. They are scheduled on-device.

If Apple Intelligence is available on your device, it may rewrite a page you asked it to rewrite, and it may draft a weekly brief from the last seven pages. That processing stays on device. You accept or discard every rewrite. Folio still works with a local cleanup when Apple Intelligence is off.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
