Privacy policy

Your scans are processed and stored on your device. AI Scan 3D does not upload scans to the developer or to a remote AI service. You choose whether to share an exported file.

This policy describes AI Scan 3D for iPhone and iPad, including version 1.0.4, developed by Alejandro Hernandez Mitre / NEXTECH.IA.

Camera and LiDAR

The app uses camera images, LiDAR depth and device-tracking information to reconstruct nearby objects and spaces. Camera images can also supply color information for the scan when texture capture is enabled. This processing happens on the device.

Camera access is needed for scanning. You can change this permission in the device’s Settings app. Denying access prevents new camera-based scans.

Information stored on your device

The app stores scan files, associated color data and scan-library details, such as names and capture dates, in its local app storage. Scan settings, language and reminder preferences are also saved locally. CAD analysis and exported 3D files or preview videos are generated on the device.

Delete a scan in the app to remove its library record and associated scan files. Deleting the app removes its local app storage. Exported or shared copies in Files, Photos, another app or another person’s possession are separate and must be managed there. Device backups may contain app data according to your Apple or computer backup settings.

Exporting prepares a file locally. When you use the system share sheet, you choose the destination or recipient. A selected service may upload or store the file under its own privacy practices. The app does not send a copy to the developer as part of sharing.

Optional reminders

If you allow notifications, the app can schedule local scanning reminders. These are scheduled on the device and do not use a developer-operated push service. You can turn off Daily Reminders in the app’s Settings or change notification permissions in the device’s Settings app.

Accounts, analytics and payments

AI Scan 3D has no app account, developer-operated cloud sync, advertising SDK or analytics SDK. The app does not transmit scanning activity to the developer and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions in this version. App Store downloads and any App Store purchase are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

These web pages

These privacy and support pages are hosted separately from the app on GitHub Pages. GitHub records visitors’ IP addresses for security, as explained in its Pages data-collection notice and privacy statement. These pages add no scripts, forms, cookies or analytics code. Links to external websites are handled by your browser and the destination service.

Support correspondence and privacy requests

Choosing an email link opens your email app; it does not send a message automatically. If you contact bedr10_capacitacion@hotmail.com, the developer receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send and uses them to address your request. A scan is not required for an initial support request.

Support messages can remain in the developer’s mailbox and email providers’ storage after a reply. This policy does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period. Use the same address to request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence and identify the relevant message. Providers may retain delivery records or backups under their own policies.

If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new date.
